Kids being Kids

I sat on a blanket with my camera in a yard covered with golden leaves yesterday watching kids just being kids.

There was playing in the leaves

Bright colored chew toys

A little bit of pouting

Roaring like a dinosaur

Being an artist

Falling down with a smile

Toting around the necessities

Eating leaves before mom sees..

Talking to your best friend on the phone, kind of..

Watching the world while standing on your head

Laying back and watching leaves fall to the ground

and enjoying the breeze

Have you acted like a kid lately?

It is so much fun to watch kids be kids and get to see it all over again in photos. Here are some more of my favorites from my day.

These eyes could brighten anyone's day

Warren Family

My final photo session this weekend was of the Warren family. It was an awesome way to wrap up my photo crazy weekend. Can you believe this was the first photo taken?? They seem like pros!

These blondies couldn't get any cuter even if they tried! I try to not post my very favorites on a preview. I hate to ruin the surprise! But for this photo I had to make an exception. It was just too perfect.

These sisters giggled and loved on each other the whole time. I hope my boys get along like these girls do as they get older. Fingers crossed...

Coleman Family

I have been a very lucky girl to be able to photography Miss E twice now. She isn't shy in front of the camera at all and that makes my job easy. This year her parents wanted to join in the fun. She didn't waste any time showing them how it was done in front of the camera. All I had to do was sit back and push the shutter button!

Constable Family

October has started with gorgeous weather and I have had a weekend full of gorgeous families. The Constable family joined me Sunday morning in the sunshine for photos. It took Ryan a bit to warm up but once he did he was just as much of a ham as his sister!!

Photo Days: East Village

Taking photos for fun is so much... well... fun! And having a photo buddy that thinks so too is the best. My sister-in-law Anne and I go out with our cameras and come home with hundreds of pictures to compare, critique, and enjoy.

These photos are from our day walking around downtown and taking pictures inside and outside of stores and along the streets of whatever interested and inspired us.

Fabulous Family of Five

What great weather we have had lately! Low 80's with mostly sunny skies is the perfect backdrop to be out with three beautiful kids and of course their parents. The girls were loving the camera and the little guy was loving running from the camera. It made for some laughs, some exercise, and great photos!

They were so great to photograph. We got off to a great start with some perfect shots of all of them together. I have to say that Dad was a great sport. He was ready and willing to be in any photos, sit anywhere, and chase the kids around all morning.

Bryson

Bryson turned one at the end of July and I was able to spend a couple hours in beautiful weather with him and his mom. He was a happy camper and full of new expressions that he showed off while we were together. He is quickly becoming a tall, dark, and handsome heart-breaker and here are photos to prove it!
